Homeland Photography
Conservationist, Wildlife Photographer, Park Ranger, Wildlife Guide and Zodiac Captain are a few of titles David holds and is well respected for his ability to tell a story with his lens. With a heart for conservation he has dedicated his career to sharing the natural world with others and encourage everyone to fall in love with our planet. Born is Labrador City, his camera has been by his side most of his life throughout the far reaches of the remote north coast of Labrador to the rugged cliffs of the island's southern shore.
Experience and Adventure
He has provided support for high profile photographers from National Geographic, Canadian Geographic and worked with various film productions including Netflix, Amazon Prime, CBC, NHK Japan. His work has appeared in both Federal and Provincial government publications as well he has previously instructing photography at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2025 he also became a contributing photographer with the Nature Conservancy of Canada where he also volunteers as a Property Stewart.
Conservation through Clean Coves Inc.
In 2021 David founded his Not For Profit organization Clean Coves Inc. as has worked tirelessly to clean up plastics and refuge from our shorelines. "We are at a crossroads of history and just beginning to understand how connected we are to our planet, sharing our wild world with through inspiring images and protecting our coastline is how I love to give back !" he shares passionately.
